National Resource Center on AD/HD

The National Resource Center on AD/HD (NRC) is a program of CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder) and was established in 2002 to be the national clearinghouse for the latest evidence-based information on AD/HD. The NRC provides comprehensive information and support to individuals with AD/HD, their families and friends, and the professionals involved its treatment. Washington State Special Education Coalition

The Washington State Special Education Coalition was formed in 1977 in order to bring parent and professional organizations together in the spirit of cooperation and collaboration to share information, explore issues and effectively advocate for quality education for all children, particularly those with special education needs in Washington State.

Our Guiding Principles are:

  • To identify the unmet needs of infants, toddlers, and students with disabilities so they can be fully involved and supported in programs & activities in the public schools
  • To provide a clear voice in support of appropriate assessment, individual programs, services, funding, and training
  • To be a statewide volunteer public awareness force, providing decision makers with up-to-date information about special education
